Centre Marshfield Cemetery

Once an Episcopal church stood near the corner of Grove and Ferry Streets in the section of Marshfield known as Marshfield Centre.  This is NOT the area of today's downtown where the Town Hall and other shops are located either.  The Marshfield Centre at that time in this location was near the Centre Marshfield train station and Centre Marshfield Post Office, now both are long gone.

The one thing remaining is a small, but well-kept cemetery located in this area located next to the Marshfield Centre Garage, formerly owned by Sonny Oxner.  The earliest stone in this cemetery dates back to 1750.  It is the home of the departed families of Marshfield's past - White, Lewis, Keen and Hall - amongst others.
